  • Day 1 - 4 Oslo

    Oslo, for culture and relaxing (+ good food and drinks)

    Fly to Oslo Gardemoen, no need to buy alcohol in the tax-free shops. Buy an Oslo pass for 3 days, take the hop-on / hop-off cruise. Enjoy the museums and attractions. Go to Akkar Brygga in the weekends to join young and fashionable people. The Norsk Teknisk Museum does not come up when selecting on TripAdvisor, but is worthwhile to visit if you have children under 15.

  • Day 5 - 8 Lærdalsøyri

    Lærdalsøyri - near Flåm, great for hiking and excursions

    Feeling adventurous? Book a Fjordsafari on fjordsfari.com; if not, take a cruise on the fjords, starting from Flåm. If you want to ride Flåmsbana, pre-Book a ticket on flåmsbana.no Take a few hiking trips in the surrounding area, they're great and fun to do. Oh and when you have the opportunity, don't drive to Flåm through the Ærlandtunnel, but take the historic Ærlandsfjellet route.

    Rainy Bergen

    Buy a Bergen pass. Visit the Kode 1-4 museums. Do some shopping. Take the Fløybanen up the mountain and enjoy the view. Definitely go to Vinyl (restaurant) to enjoy a great selection of draft beers and burgers.
